Toni is a writer and communications & marketing  specialist with a passion for talking to new people, learning new things and sharing that knowledge via the written word.

She graduated from the University of Akron in 2005 with a BA in Communications: Radio and TV and a minor in English. While at Akron, she worked at 88.1 WZIP, the nation's largest and most successful student-run college radio station, where she was News Director from 2003-2004. She was recognized as the organization's Outstanding Newscaster in 2004.

Following graduation, Toni worked as an anchor, reporter and web editor at Rubber City Radio Group (1590 WAKR, 97.5 WONE, and 94.9 WQMX).  In 2007, she was the station's lead reporter assigned to cover the disappearance & murder of Jessi Davis; she appeared as a guest reporter on the national Fox News show, "On the record with Greta VanSusteren." Her work contributed to the WAKR's 2007 AP award for best news coverage and their 2007 Edward R. Murrow award.

Toni left RCRG int he fall of 2007 to write for STACK Magazine, a sports training magazine  and website based in Cleveland, OH. While at STACK, she produced video and wrote on nutrition, entertainment and lifestyle and mental health while traveling the country to talk with experts in the fields of training, health, nutrition, fashion and entertainment.

She currently works for The National Network of Digital Schools, an online curriculum developer and provider, and management company, specialising in public relations, marketing and social media.

A recent newlywed, Toni enjoys cooking, running, yoga and writing from her home in Green that she shares with her husband, Matt, and their brindle boxer, Mason.
