Cuyahoga Falls Man Tries to Outrun Police, Fails
Warren Bartz III, 33, of Cuyahoga Falls, was taken down after leading police on a chase down Graham Road on Jan. 21.
On Jan. 21 at 3 p.m., a Cuyahoga Falls woman called police when she saw a man -- later identified as Warren F. Bartz III -- trying to open the back door of her 8th Street home. Finding the door locked, Bartz fled and was quickly spotted by Cuyahoga Falls police. Officers ordered him to stop, but Bartz, instead, led them on a foot chase down Graham Road. Once tackled on Prange Drive, he physically resisted arrest, leaving his face cut and bloody. Police called in paramedics to treat Bartz's minor injuries before he was taken into custody, according to police radio traffic. If you're found to be driving under suspension, they give you the maximum. Criminal acts...nah. Driving under suspension earns money for the courts, the state, etc. Criminal convictions earn much less.   more ›
