Cuyahoga Falls Man Faces Multiple Charges After Scuffle With Police

The following was obtained from a Cuyahoga Falls police report dated Feb. 20. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 42-year-old was hit with a string of misdemeanor charges after he allegedly slipped away from police and resisted arrest on Feb. 20 at 2:27 p.m. According to a Cuyahoga Falls police report, the man walked away from an officer while being cited for reckless driving, driving under suspension, open container and drunken driving. Police caught up with the man in a second-story Studio City apartment and handcuffed him. As an officer escorted him downstairs, he started to thrash and lunged forward, pulling himself and the officer down the stairwell. Falls Police Blotter: $2.5 Million Sweepstakes Turns Into $10,000 Con

The following was culled from Cuyahoga Falls police reports dated June 5-8. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Falls man called police on Friday afternoon, saying he sent $2,500 cash to someone who claimed he’d won $2.5 million and a car in a sweepstakes. The man continued, telling officers he then sent $7,500 cash to someone claiming to be an FBI agent investigating the sweepstakes fraud. He wishes to press charges if the con artists are caught. Lewd dude A woman reported Wednesday evening that an unknown black man exposed his genitals as they rode an elevator in the Studio City apartment complex. Officers search the 2200 block of Winter Parkway, but were unable to find the lewd dude.   Swiped sneakers UPS delivered a package to a man’s Second Street apartment on Tuesday, but unfortunately, the package was stolen before he came home to retrieve …

Four Arrested in Studio City Meth Lab Bust

Police have charged Kathy Dias, 50; Daniel Hammock, 26; Lisa Ramsey, 49; and Monica Moles, 24, with multiple felonies for running a meth lab out of a Cuyahoga Falls apartment.

Falls Police arrested four people Wednesday and hit them with a set of felony charges after officers found a methamphetamine lab they were running out of a Studio City apartment. Kathy Dias, Daniel Hammock, Monica Moles and Lisa Ramsey were taken into custody and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a first-degree felony; illegal assembly of drug components, a second-degree felony; possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony; drug abuse, a fourth-degree felony; and endangering children, a third-degree felony. According to a press release, a search warrant was gained and executed by the Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit after receiving a tip about the drug operation at 2255 Winter Pkwy., Apt. 124. Nicholas Sklare and Lacey Esposito were arrested Monday after they were found cooking methamphetamine in a Studio City apartment.

Nicholas Sklare, 25, of Akron, and Lacey Esposito, 27, of Cuyahoga Falls, were arrested Monday morning after police found them cooking meth in a Studio City apartment. The pair was charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a second-degree felony; illegal assembly of drug components, a third-degree felony; possession of criminal tools and drug abuse, both fifth-degree felonies; and drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, according to Falls police Sgt. James Singleton.  The Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit discovered the lab after receiving a call asking officers to check the welfare of the resident living at 2319 Winter Parkway, Apt. 310, he said.

Falls Police: Tip Leads to Meth Bust at Studio City Apartment

Police discovered the lab after receiving a tip to check the welfare of those living at 2319 Winter Parkway, Apt. 310.
