Suspected Meth Cooks Arrested in Cuyahoga Falls

Four people arrested on Feb. 10 face several meth-related felony charges.

An early morning trip to the local Walgreen's ended badly for four people after they were seen purchasing items that can be used to produce methamphetamine. On Feb. 10 at 12:43 a.m., an officer from the Cuyahoga Falls Police K-9 Unit pulled over two members of the group -- Cliff J. Cundiff, 29, of Akron, and Richelle L. Brown, 33, of Cuyahoga Falls -- as they left the State Road drug store.  The officer found methamphetamine, a glass pipe allegedly used to smoke the drug and "Wal-Phed," an over-the-counter medicine that can double as a meth ingredient, according to the Cuyahoga Falls police report.  Once the pair was in custody, police arrested the other two suspects -- Brandon T. Notorious Meth House Demolished in Cuyahoga Falls

The home of convicted methamphetamine cook Clayton Allshouse was torn down given the long history of criminal activity at the residence. Most-read 2012.

Here's an article about an infamous meth cook who made headlines after his house was raided by police several times.  Now you see it, now you don't. 3782 Northampton Rd. met the wrecking ball in late November, and for good reason. UPDATE: Meth Cook Hit With 5-Year Prison Sentence

Clayton Allshouse, 63, of Cuyahoga Falls, was sentenced on Sept. 21 in Summit County Common Pleas Court.

Getting away with cooking meth in Cuyahoga Falls is no easy feat these days. The latest proof of that came when Clayton Allshouse, 63, of Cuyahoga Falls, appeared in Summit County Common Pleas Court on Sept. 21 and was sentenced to five years in jail for the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, according to Summit County court officials.  Allshouse was arrested on May 4 after police raided his residence -- located at 3782 Northampton Rd. -- and found it was being used to cook the highly addictive drug, according to a police press release. The Cuyahoga Falls Police Narcotics Unit and the Summit County Drug Unit collaborated on the drug bust. In related news, Allshouse's residence was raided on two other occasions this summer.
