Wind Chill Advisory Issued; 1-3 Inches of Snow Possible Monday

The National Weather Service reports the wind chill makes it feel like -11 degrees outside.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for the region, and predicts snow accumulation of around 1-3 inches Monday night. Wind gusts could get as fast as 29 mph today, reports the National Weather Service. The daytime snow accumulation is about 1 inch. Tonight's low is 7 degrees.  The snow is caused by an arctic airmass that is moving into the area. Its cold air combined with the low pressure across the Great Lakes will allow for the possibility of persistent lake effect snow across Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.
