A squad of Cuyahoga Falls Police and SWAT team members arrested Brandon J. Richards at 1:15 a.m. Thursday in the 3300 block of Bath Heights Drive. Richards, 23, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested after he allegedly threatened his significant other with a handgun, and for dealing marijuana, said Falls Police Lt. Steve Guldeman. After speaking with the victim, police decided to deploy their SWAT team to assist in the arrest. When police executed a warrant and entered his residence at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Richards wasn't home. He was arrested two hours later when he returned to the residence in a car. He was charged with trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony, and domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony.
