Cuyahoga Falls Man Charged With Attempted Murder
On Dec. 29, David P. Seitz II, 27, of Cuyahoga Falls, allegedly loaded a rifle and tried to kill his girlfriend.
A heated domestic dispute almost ended in murder when David P. Seitz II allegedly loaded a rifle and tried to shoot his girlfriend. The woman told police she was choked and assaulted, and said Seitz, 27, threatened to kill her, then himself, according to a message posted on the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department's Facebook page. Seitz reportedly fired off six rounds as he and his girlfriend struggled for control of the weapon. The pair suffered minor injuries during the incident that allegedly took place inside the High Street residence they shared. According to police, the rifle and ammunition were being stored inside the residence prior to the dispute. Seitz was arrested on scene and charged with attempted murder, a first-degree felony; …
