Due to the snowfall, a citywide parking ban is in effect until 8 a.m. Saturday. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and could be towed, according to a city press release. The parking ban was issued at 1:30 p.m. Friday to aid road crews while plowing.

On Saturday, Mayor Don Robart issued a citywide parking ban, which started at noon on Saturday and will be in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday morning. "The parking ban is needed to assist our street crews in clearing off roadways. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and are subject to towing," according to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department's Facebook page. The parking ban is the second to take effect this week due to heavy snowfall caused by major storm systems that have moved through the area since Wednesday.

Cuyahoga Falls police are advising motorists to drive slowly due to slick road conditions in Cuyahoga Falls.
