Office Bistro and Lounge Opening in Cuyahoga Falls

Due to popular demand, the North Hill-Akron restaurant is set to open a second location in Cuyahoga Falls in November.

The Office Bistro and Lounge is coming to a neighborhood near you. The popular North Hill restaurant will open its second location in Cuyahoga Falls in mid to late November at the new Watermark Building, according to Kyle Nelson, front of house manager at the Akron Office location. There will be “much continuity” between the existing and new locations, said Nelson. “Customers should expect a polished, casual atmosphere and American fare with a contemporary twist,” he said.  The restaurant is set to accommodate a mix of patrons – from those who want to make it their neighborhood bar to those celebrating a special occasion. “There has been a lot of buzz about (the Office Bistro) and we are elated they will be open for the holiday season,” …

Portage Crossing Announcement Expected; Project Seeing 'Positive Changes'

Cuyahoga Falls Development Director Sue Truby says good news is coming as design plans for Portage Crossing are finalized by Stark Enterprises.

According to city officials, some exciting news lies ahead as the Portage Crossing development plan moves into its final stages. Patch corresponded with Cuyahoga Falls Development Director Sue Truby via email on Wednesday, and here's what she had to say about the proposed 27-acre shopping and dining hub: "(Stark Enterprises is) already engaged in the process of closing and things are going well. One doesn't close on a project of this magnitude overnight. There are some positive changes in the works that the developers are currently working on but that are not yet finalized, and therefore, not able to be announced. When the developer is ready, we will discuss these changes at a future (Cuyahoga Falls City) Council meeting. I realize there …
