Richard Brannan, 89, World War II Veteran, Beloved Father and Husband
Brannan is survived by many loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Richard A. Brannan, 89, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Brannan was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 66 years. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, according to the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber as a tire builder with 40 years of experience and was a retiree of ACME #10 and #12. Brannan also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Louise; children, Tim, Terry, Bill, Tom, Pat, Mary Beth, Maureen, Denny, Paul and Teressa; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
