Public Indecency; Wandering Children; and Mixed-Up Witness: Crime Blotter

Drowsy dad A resident quickly called Cuyahoga Falls police on April 23 at 12:54 p.m. after spotting two small children wandering down the 1300 block of Curtis Avenue. According to police, the children left their Myrtle Avenue home when their father had dozed off. The children were returned unharmed. He was doing what? A 25-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman received quite the shock when she reportedly caught a man masturbating on her front porch. The man fled from her Cliffside Street residence and police were unable to locate him.  Mixed-up witness A Cuyahoga Falls man called police and said he witnessed four men jump out of an Audi and steal a case of beer from the Circle K drive thru on Bailey Road. Public Indecency; Valentine Burglary; and 7-Eleven Con Man

The following was obtained from Cuyahoga Falls police reports dated Feb. 14-16. It does not indicate convictions.

Highly questionable behavior On Feb. 16 at 7:35 a.m., a 54-year-old Stow woman alerted Cuyahoga Falls police after she reportedly spotted a man masturbating while driving on State Route 8. With the tip, officers were able to find and arrest the 29-year-old Canton man. He was charged with public indecency, a third-degree misdemeanor, according to the Cuyahoga Falls police report.  Valentine's Day misfortune An Akron woman called Cuyahoga Falls police and reported her Sandhill residence had been burglarized at about 1:40 p.m. on Feb. 14. The burglar smashed through the back door and made off with $2,200 in cash and valuables, according to the police report. Kids Pelted With BB Gun; 12-Year-Old Steals $2,000; and Public Indecency: Falls Police Blotter

He was doing what? On Sept. 27 at 8:30 a.m., a Falls woman reportedly saw a suspicious man parked in the lot behind her apartment building off Edward Avenue. She confronted the man, asked what he was doing and quickly noticed he was masturbating in his car. The man fled once she threatened to call the police. He drove off in a light blue Honda Civic. Grounded for life A fed up father called Cuyahoga Falls Police on Sept. 25 after finding out his 12-year-old daughter stole $2.200 in cash from him. The little girl blew through $600 before he realized the money was missing from a locked room. She returned the remaining $1,600 and will probably be grounded for quite some time.
