A three-month investigation ends with three in handcuffs Friday morning.
Three Cuyahoga Falls residents are arrested following three-month drug trafficking investigation. Police and the SWAT team arrived at the scene early Friday morning with two search warrants and entered a home at 3001 Hudson Dr. Joshua R. Sadler, 18, was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking marijuana, a felony of the fifth degree. The SWAT team then moved on to a home next door, at 2983 Hudson Dr., near Kathron Avenue, where they arrested Calah Booker, 19, on three counts of trafficking marijuana, and cuffed Ryan Morgan, 22, on one count of trafficking marijuana. The narcotics unit and detectives find the drug and tools to grow more at a home on Hudson Drive.
A Cuyahoga Falls man faces a laundry list of charges after police discover a marijuana growing operation at his home. John R. Jones Jr., 37, was arrested on Thursday, April 21, on charges of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and child endangering. Cuyahoga Falls Police report the narcotics unit and detective bureau used a search warrant to enter the residence in the 2800 block of Hudson Drive. Detectives found items used for growing marijuana, more than 200 grams of marijuana, marijuana seeds, growing lights and equipment, police said in a press release. Jone’s14-year-old child was taken to Summit County Children Services.

Police and the Summit County Drug Unit find 18 pounds of marijuana and drug-related tools.
Police arrested two men after discovering pounds of marijuana inside a Cuyahoga Falls apartment. Mark G. Wooldridge, 22, of Bowling Green and Antonio V. Dorman, 21, of Akron, were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges Tuesday. The Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit and the Summit County Drug Unit used a search warrant to raid the apartment at 4175 Americana Dr. Police seized 18 pounds of marijuana, a handgun, plastic bags, a digital scale and other drug-related tools. About 10 pounds of the marijuana was in brick form, wrapped in plastic.
