When it comes to the perfect pizza pie, you have a handful of choices nearby, but Mr G’s is the only one I know to bring the flavor and style of New York close to home. While you probably have a favorite, go-to pizza joint (mine is usually Luigi’s in Akron), but I was open minded and my tummy was pleased after sitting down for an evening meal at Mr G’s Pizzeria & Wings in Fairlawn. I started with an appetizer-- Mr G's House Fries, a yummy basket of golden cooked fries covered in melted cheese and topped with garlic and oil. The fries are thick enough to soak up the extra oil for dipping. This is a fun vacation from the usual bread and butter basket.
