Hours after his arrest on Thursday, Cuyahoga Falls police added new charges -- from kidnapping and rape to the manufacture of drugs -- against Brandon J. Richards.
If the allegations are true, Brandon J. Richards is in a world of trouble. Suspected Weed Trafficker Arrested After Felony Domestic Violence Dispute Richards, 23, of Cuyahoga Falls, was charged with kidnapping and rape -- both first-degree felonies -- after detectives examined evidence collected from his Bath Heights Drive residence on Thursday, said Cuyahoga Falls Police Sgt. A Cuyahoga Falls woman was listed as the 13th best mugshot of 2012. The woman was arrested by Falls Police with a slew of felonies after a meth lab bust this summer.
It isn't really a list you want to top, but Kathy Dias' shirt may be the reason her mugshot is number 13 on a list of the 30 best mugshots of the year, according to BuzzFeed. Dias and three others were charged in June with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a first-degree felony; illegal assembly of drug components, a second-degree felony; possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony; drug abuse, a fourth-degree felony; and endangering children, a third-degree felony. Roseling, 59, of Euclid, had pleaded guilty to the crimes on March 5 in the Cuyahoga Falls case.
Eugene Louis Roseling, 59, of Euclid, was sentenced on Monday to 11 years in prison for getting caught in the act of stabbing his wife. Roseling pled guilty on March 5 in Summit County Common Pleas Court to attempted murder, a first-degree felony, and felonious assault, a second-degree felony, according to the Falls News Press. This past November, Cuyahoga Falls police officers Ted Davis and Joel Moledor rushed to Squires Bend after getting a report of a woman frantically screaming. When officers arrived, they could hear screams for help from behind a locked garage. Moledor kicked the door in and he and Davis confronted Roseling as he was stabbing his wife. His wife, who had been staying with family in Cuyahoga Falls, was stabbed three …

Updated 4.8.12, 12:30 p.m. Julie Wingate, 41, of Cuyahoga Falls, was sentenced on Thursday to two years of probation for stealing $8.600 from a youth baseball organization in 2010. Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Tammy O’Brien gave her 150 hours of community service and ordered her to pay back the money, which she has, according to the Falls News Press. She was also handed an eight-month suspended sentence. “Under the new sentencing guidelines, she could not be sent to prison because she has no felony record and this was a nonviolent offense,” said April Wiesner, the director of communications for the prosecutor’s office. Assault • A resident of the 2200 block of Harding Road reported that his daughter was assaulted by a known female at Cuyahoga Falls High School, 2300 4th St., at about 2 p.m. Oct. 18. The father said his daughter was punched repeatedly in the head, and he will prosecute. • A resident of the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue reported his son was punched and thrown to the ground at about 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 18 at Cuyahoga Falls High School. The father said he will prosecute. • A resident on the 1000 block of Tallmadge Road told police the mother of his children threw a log through his east window and punched his friend in the eye when the friend tried to intervene at about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16.
