Falls Farmers Market Seeking Vendors for 2013 Season

Cuyahoga Falls Farmers Market organizers are preparing for the upcoming season and are looking for new vendors to take part. Interested individuals should contact the Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Office at 330-971-8225 or email Chrystan Richardson at richardsoncl@cityofcf.com for more information. You can also find a vendor application on the city's website. This summer's market will have a new location. While it took place last year at the parking lot at 3rd Street and Oakwood Drive, across from the Natatorium and City Hall, it'll switch this year to the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. This will be the sixth year for the farmers market in Cuyahoga Falls. Name: Carter Bailey School: Cuyahoga Falls High School Class: 1995 Occupation: Coffee Roaster, Owner, KC Coffee Company What was your career path leading up to your current job? I was a mechanical engineer. I designed machines for about nine years. They closed the doors of the shop and I wanted to get out of the corporate world. So I started roasting coffee. It’s been six years now. What does your job entail, and what is your career goal? I order the beans directly from one farm in El Salvador. I have to get my materials situated, make sure my customers are taken care of who serve my coffee and farmers markets are what I do all summer long.
