Police Find Drug Use at Economy Inn

Glenn D. Lambert and two juveniles arrested for drugs.

Cuyahoga Falls Police arrested Glenn D. Lambert and two teenagers at the Economy Inn, Dec. 21. Officers detected marijuana use and found chemicals used to produce methamphetamines, according to a Cuyahoga Falls Police press release. Police located them through an anonymous tip. They arrested the three for minor misdemeanor drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. Lambert was also arrested for illegal possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs—a second degree felony. The 17-year-old and 15-year-old were released to guardians. All information provided by Cuyahoga Falls Police.

Two Men Arrested for Possessing Chemicals Used to Make Drugs

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police discovered chemicals for creating drugs after searching a vehicle July 29. The vehicle was pulled over for a routine traffic stop at Francis Avenue and Meriline Street. When the police inspected the vehicle, they found that Brian Savory, 35, of Cuyahoga Falls, and James Brice Jr., 36, of Akron, were in possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.  Police said that Savory had four needles and meth, while Brice had drug paraphernalia and a three-inch knife in his waistband.  Illegal possession of the chemicals for manufacture of drugs is a third degree felony.

Cuyahoga Falls Police Blotter: Man Found with Drugs Smashes Window at Economy Inn

The following arrest information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An Economy Inn employee told police that a 65-year-old man broke a table, chair and the window in his room at the hotel on June 17 at 3:20 a.m. The suspect was also found with crack cocaine in his room. Criminal Mischief A 60-year-old man living in the 1000 block of Seibel Drive told police that someone removed patio furniture, animal cages and outdoor mats from his home and placed them in front of someone else's door and car also on Seibel Drive on June 17. None of the items were damaged. A Dewitt Elementary custodian told police that someone spray painted two sides of a park bench and the sidewalk near the building between June 15 and June 16.

Cuyahoga Falls Man Busted for Marijuana Operation

Police discover marijuana pots at a home on 19th Street.

Cuyahoga Falls police discovered a marijuana growing operation on Monday during an arrest at a home on 19th Street. During the arrest, officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana inside the home at 1746 19th Street. Police say they found 48 marijuana plants in the basement. Police report a total of 18 pots with harvested stalks of marijuana, two pounds of harvested marijuana, along with growth enhancing chemicals, growing lights, humidifiers and a handgun were found. Police arrested Christopher Brown, 25, and Rebecca Gorman, 27, at the home on Monday April 4 at 12:30 p.m. on charges of growing marijuana and having criminal tools in his possession. Brown, who was wanted on traffic violations, now faces additional charges for having a weapon…

My family lives on Meriline Street and encountered a similar situation a couple of years ago with a next door neighbor who was dealing drugs and had numerous individuals coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Two Men Arrested in Pot Bust

Police and the Summit County Drug Unit find 18 pounds of marijuana and drug-related tools.

Police arrested two men after discovering pounds of marijuana inside a Cuyahoga Falls apartment. Mark G. Wooldridge, 22, of Bowling Green and Antonio V. Dorman, 21, of Akron, were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges Tuesday. The Cuyahoga Falls Narcotics Unit and the Summit County Drug Unit used a search warrant to raid the apartment at 4175 Americana Dr. Police seized 18 pounds of marijuana, a handgun, plastic bags, a digital scale and other drug-related tools.  About 10 pounds of the marijuana was in brick form, wrapped in plastic.
