Update: Armed Robber Identified as Bradley Rogers

Man fled to apartments after taking cash from Pulp Smoothie.

Thursday, Cuyahoga Falls Police got a call at 6:08 p.m. about a man, Bradley Rogers, with a gun in Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar on Buchholzer Boulevard. "He brandished a gun, and fled with an undetermined amount of money," Sergeant James Singleton said. Rogers ran to an apartment complex behind the store and up to his apartment possibly shared with a girlfriend. Police called in the Cuyahoga Falls SWAT team and residents were evacuated. "Negotiators were able to get the woman out of the apartment," according to a Cuyahoga Falls Police press release. Rogers refused departure and threatened to harm himself or officers, the press release said. SWAT team members let pepper gas into his apartment, and at 10:20 p.m., he "eventually surrendered," …

Cuyahoga Falls Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who took cash from an auto parts store.

Two clerks and a customer were inside the Advanced Auto Parts off of State Road Tuesday night, when an armed suspect entered the store and demanded cash from the register. Cuyahoga Falls Police report the suspect was dressed in all black, with a hood over his head, and spoke in Hispanic dialect when he approached the cash register. Police say the suspect is described to be 5-feet 8-inches and 160 pounds. The suspect ran out of the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash before police arrived to the scene.
