Cuyahoga Falls High School has received the "Excellent" rating from Ohio Department of Education for the 2009-2010More school year. In the ODE report, the high school met 12 out of 12 indicators and met the state required attendance rate at 93.8%.

The high school was acknowledged by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation with a bronze national recognition award for the changes it made to the daily student activities during the 2009-2010 school year. 

Lincoln Elementary School

Lincoln Elementary School was rated "Effective" by the Ohio Department of Education for the 2009-2010 school year. InMore the ODE report, the school met five out of eight indicators. Students in grades K-5 can enjoy the Lincoln School Park, which features athletic fields, a basketball court and play equipment. Each month the school issues the Lincoln Log newsletter for parents to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings at Lincoln Elementary.

Surrounded by green space, the school sits across the street from a handful of athletic fields.

Bolich Middle School Park

An open grassy field for playing catch and a baseball field for leisure and team games are two features at Bolich MiddleMore School Park. A track is sandwiched between Bolich and the former Newberry Middle School. Inside the fenced-in track is a building for concessions and stands for parents, students and fans to watch their favorite Tiger participate in school athletic functions.

Each month, the school administration releases its Connection newsletter to parents, which include helpful tips for learning at home and in the classroom.

Students can participate in the Reach For The Stars book program during the school year.  In 2010, 21 full-time teachers and seven part-time teachers were employed at Price. 

DeWitt Elementary School

Founded in 1969, this school features a fenced-in outdoor playground and park and a library, located close to the heartMore of the city's downtown. DeWitt Elementary School was rated "effective" by the Ohio Department of Education for the 2009-2010 school year. The school has 28 full-time teachers on staff, with six part-time teachers. About 430 students were enrolled at DeWitt Elementary in 2010. Each month, the school issues a newsletter to parents, Dragon Tales, which offers parents an inside look at projects, dates of events and a list of students recognized for outstanding achievements and Top Tiger awards.

Summit Christian School

Founded 28 years ago, Summit Christian School is a private institution for students in grades pre-school through 8th.More Teachers use more hands-on activities for student learning and engagement. "We have plenty of field trips," explained Melanie Kemp, school administrator. 

Students are encouraged to be active in local community service outreach programs, such as the Haven of Rest, singing in nursing homes and supporting a doctor's mission to volunteer in Haiti.
