Who doesnt hold the hand of a 2 year old in a parking lot? What were the otherRead More "passengers" doing? I know that we held our children's hands until they were in their teens because young children dont understand the danger. Sad and totally preventable.

So sad, My heart goes out to these folks. You can not watch children 24x7. A parking lot is aRead More dangerous place for children. A lesson to all of us. I hope these poor folks do not have to pay the extra cost for EMS services in Franklin Township. This would be an insult on top of a terrible accident.

You guys would complain if you were given a fresh donut! Too bad you want instant gratification onRead More everything. This is the real world - not Disneyland! You want more cops? I'm sure the City would accept additional taxes from you to pay for them - cops don't work for free! I'm guessing you don't pay any taxes at all! Try getting a real job instead of whining all day on the blogs. All you are doing is showing your (lack of) intelligence!

Don - the sourness is because CF Police are now allowed to work overtime, but ONLY if they make aRead More minimum quota on traffic tickets. So.. guess what they spend a larger percentage of regular hours doing now?
Sumco Res August 26, 2013 at 10:08 am
You need to understand that when the officers are on the STOPS overtime detail, they do NOT handleRead More regular calls. They have a quota of 3 per hour and they only write for 15 mph over the limit. Stop signs are important too. One officer likes to make his quota watching certain stop signs. The cops are happy. They make their quota easily. The traffic fines pay for their overtime. As a manager, when you hire someone on overtime, you expect them to work. The quota set is easily made. So what is the beef? You want safe streets - the Chief is doing his part and NOT adding to the tax burden of the citizens (except those that are dumb enough to violate the traffic laws). The normal shift officers are handling the domestics, the crazies, the drunks, and the accidents, and there are more than enough of those to keep them busy.

If someone calls and tells you that your computer is downloading viruses *RIGHT NOW* and you shouldRead More go immediately to your computer... Don't go. Don't turn on your computer. Don't go to a website they give you. Don't allow them to "take control" of your computer. It's one of the latest scams. Don't fall for it.
