Haunted Akron Excursion 2013; Scares and Chills Await

By: Jeri Holland

Join Jeri Holland and Ken Summersfor for a Haunted Akron Excursion on September 27 & 28.

Explore the spookier side of the Cuyahoga Valley on a 1 1/2 hour tour departing from Peninsula.

Travelers will hear some of the many tragic tales and ghostly happenings along the rails from Everett, Botzum and Akron.

Does Everett have more ghosts than houses? Has a murdered man stayed after death in Botzum? Who haunts the Akron Civic Theater? What does Mark Twain have to do with an Akron poltergeist case?

And why should you feel a bit creeped out spending too much time at the Northside Station?

These questions and many more will be answered.

Upon returning to Peninsula, those brave enough can choose to take a one-mile hike to one of the valley's most haunted and secluded locations to hear two more tragic tales at the very sites they occurred.

Depart from the Peninsula Depot at 5:10 and return at 6:50 p.m.

A boxed dinner is included. Make your selection when you purchase your ticket.
