Hampton Falls AARP to Donate $1,000

Local AARP group gathers funds for new homeless veterans home.

Tuesday at 2:15 p.m., AARP will present a $1,000 check to Valor Home Committee for the homeless veterans home set to be built next year.

The Valor Home's luncheon in the Cathedral Buffett will highlight the check's presentation.

Through donations and profit from selling entertainment books, the AARP group worked up a larger sum than normal for a donation.
