Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial: Calling All Volunteers for Keyser Park Barn Restoration

Renovation work on the historic structure started in May and will run through July.

Calling all carpenters, painters and do-it-yourselfers, the Bicentennial Committee is looking for people like you to lend a helping hand with the ongoing restoration.

The effort includes: removing and salvaging slate roof shingles, removing existing siding, hanging new wood siding and trim and painting, according to cityofcf.com.

Volunteers must be comfortable working at various heights on scaffolding and ladders; though, some painting will be done at ground level. Folks who apply should also be comfortable using hand and power tools.
