Splashing Onto the Water Works Scene: Summer 2013
The improving weather is attracting residents to the popular summer water park.
An unseasonably high amount of rain has kept folks of all ages from enjoying Cuyahoga Falls' Water Works Family Aquatic Center, but that all changed today.
Monday's high hit 89 degrees and Water Works' pools were packed with people trying to beat the oppressive heat.
Kim Wood, the city's aquatic director, said attendance has been curbed somewhat by the recent storm systems, but it appears the tide is turning.
From July 15-24, temps will likely range from the high 70s to low 90s, and chances of precipitation are expected to only peak at 40 percent, according to weather.com.
