Summa Western Reserve Hospital Travels ‘Fugitive’s Path’ in Honor of Black History Month
Summa Western Reserve Hospital has teamed up with actors from Hale Farm and Village to present a special performance of 'A Fugitives Path' on February 23, 2012, 12 – 1 p.m.
In honor of Black History Month, Summa Western Reserve Hospital has teamed up with actors from Hale Farm and Village to present a special performance of A Fugitives Path on February 23, 2012, 12 – 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the hospital auditorium at Summa Western Reserve Hospital, 1900 23rd. St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
A Fugitive’s Path examines the local history behind the Underground Railroad during this tumultuous moment in time for the United States and invites the audience to participate to see first-hand what the life of a slave was like. Guests will experience an emotional and vivid recreation of the trauma experienced by those traveling the Underground Railroad to reach freedom in the North states.
