Superintendent Ed Holland accepted the position of superintendent for the Cuyahoga Heights City school district Wednesday night, Falls school board member Barbara Gunter said.

“I want to congratulate Dr. Holland,” Gunter said. “This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for him. It’s an opportunity that he’s been looking for a while, and it finally came and he took it.”

Gunter said Holland was offered a four-year deal at $141,000 annually. She said that while she’s sad to see him go, this now opens the door for the district to find new leadership. Holland's contract is attached as a .pdf file in this story.
