Snapshot of the Day: Karen Schofield Sworn in to Falls School Board

The newly appointed board member will fill out the remainder of Curtis Grimes's term, which will run through Dec. 31, 2013.

At a special meeting held this past Friday, was sworn into the by former interim treasurer Jerry Zelenka.

Schofield spent 21 years in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District as a teacher, curriculum specialist and building principal, and the next 14 years in Kent as a director of elementary and middle school education, she said. 

Since retiring in 2008, Schofield has served on the Cuyahoga Falls PT21 Strategic Planning Committee, the High School Principal’s Advisory Committee and the Redistricting Committee.
