Pranksters Put Couch on Cuyahoga Falls High School

Harmless senior prank or an act of vandalism?

On the You Know You're From Cuyahoga Falls When ... Facebook page a resident shared a picture of the high school Friday morning — and it looks a little bit different, especially with a couch on the roof.

Do you think this is a harmless prank or should students be repremanded and forced to clean this up?

Here's what people said on the Cuyahoga Falls Patch Facebook page

THAT is not cool! If they broke stuff, they should pay for it...this article does not state that!
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 09:23 PM
Huh?
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 09:24 PM

For the one who posted negative responds back to me -no I am not on anything but the love of God and my fellow man on earth so -keep looking at your self yes it was wrong and wrong is wrong and need to be made right -make them volunteer all summer at a burn unit
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 09:32 PM

I moved from Ohio to Ft. Wayne, IN for my Junior and Senior year of HS. The first day of my first day at a new school had a "Bob's Big Boy" on the roof letting us know that he was the new principal (we were in limbo on this decision at this point). NO ONE freaked put about "Bob" and he was returned.
Juliet Shreve May 06, 2013 at 09:44 PM
Thank you for the good responds back
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 09:44 PM
If they have gammar skills like yours...then yes, they need additional interventions.
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 09:55 PM
Again...wait...is your last name actually "Hurd?" That would explain ALOT!
Juliet Shreve May 06, 2013 at 09:57 PM
The ppl who are worried about proper words -on here it no worst then text writing and because the Bob was taking and returned that was still wrong and every where I move I did not say oh while I need to steal, burn, and thing prankster -I was kind and loving and always tried to help others -do not be a hater because there are nice ppl out here in the world and it is still wrong what they did -
Juliet Shreve May 06, 2013 at 10:00 PM
And to throw names at me show who you are -they did worst to Jesus (he he) -Thank you Jesus for give us the gift of love

This definitely is a harmless prank. I never understood why the administration got so bent out of shape over silly things. It is one thing to make the seniors clean it up: return the signs, etc., it is another to suspend them. If anyone's personal property was damaged, however, those responsible do need to accept the consequences of their actions and replace the items. How does volunteering all summer at a burn unit relate in any fashion to this particular senior prank. I don't believe they set anything on fire, did they?
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 10:12 PM
What? I do not text....and this is not a "text-speak" forum. So do you want to try that again so people who have a high school dipolma can read it????
wmfr May 06, 2013 at 10:12 PM
She was making an example that there are positive fulfilling things our young people can do within community.
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 10:14 PM
More...Huh?? Your posts are confusing for even people who are educated...and you still show who you might be!
nbmgwtw May 06, 2013 at 10:14 PM
Agreed!
Juliet Shreve May 06, 2013 at 10:59 PM
If they volunteer at a burn unit -then my be they will value how important there life is and worth more than being prankster and any other kind of bad thoughts they may have -thank you -that is the word positive
Juliet Shreve May 06, 2013 at 11:02 PM
Any one who is educated that is reading this should understand that what I am saying is right -no matter how I type it -like I said ppl are texting worst than this and I do not want to put the -periods or commas

It's good to see that kids are still having some fun in high school. We used to take chalk and make dead body outlines around the school, typically in the crosswalks. Once our assistant principal saw us and she laughed. She was wondering where all our handiwork was coming from. She told us to just make sure we don't get hurt making them. I know, that wouldn't go over well in this time of oversensitivity. There's nothing wrong with harmless creativity.
wmfr May 08, 2013 at 12:58 AM
Yes, nothing wrong with stealing from businesses and people yards and breaking things. We are all overly sensitive.
