It's Homecoming weekend at Cuyahoga Falls High School!
Tonight the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers take on the Elyria High School Pioneers at 7 p.m. at home. During pre-game festivities members of the Homecoming Court will be introduced as they're escorted onto the field by the CFHS band. Then, the king and queen will be crowned.
The Homecoming Court includes: freshmen Michele Criss and Mason Shook; sophomores Katie Thomas and Samson Demand; juniors Christina McElwee and Tommy Babcock; seniors Hannah Mcartney, Alex Peace, Kayleigh McCormick, Andrew Paster, Jackie Kerby, Joey Repasky, Andrea Siebert, Kameron Murray, Ashley Green and Mitch Davis.
On Saturday, the newly crowned king and queen will rein at the Homecoming Dance, set for 8 to 11 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The 2012 theme, “Night on the Midway,” will feature carnival-style games and music provided by the DJ service Beach Boyz Entertainment.
The Homecoming celebration has been planned and organized by the Tigerbackers club, whose advisers are teachers Jen Stedman and Ashley Okel. The club also helps out with the winter formal and other activities throughout the school year.
