Cuyahoga Falls 2013 Tax Rates Increasing

Here are the numbers that make up your property tax bill this year.

Cuyahoga Falls City Schools

The tax rate of those paying into the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools rose by .08 mills this year, according to data provided by The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com.

Homeowners will pay $2,088 for every $100,000 in home value this year, up from $2,085 last year, according to the database.

The increase adds up to $3 a year per $100,000 to a property owner's tax bill.

Overall millage stands at 68.17 this year, compared to 68.09 in 2012.

The Cuyahoga Falls City Schools district gets the largest share of your taxes, with 41.19 mills costing $1,261 per $100,000 in valuation.

Summit County gets the next-highest amount, or $387 at 12.62 mills. The city collects 11.00 mills, which translates to $337 per $100,000.

Woodridge Local Schools

The tax rate of those paying into the Woodridge Local Schools rose by 6.78 mills this year, according to data provided by The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com.

Homeowners will pay $2,273 for every $100,000 in home value this year, up from $2,066 last year, according to the database.

The increase adds up to $207 a year per $100,000 to a property owner's tax bill.

Wow. Just wow. The school system sucks down more than half of my property taxes and demands more. No way. Sorry.

I'm not anti education. I'm not anti kids. I AM anti teachers mob, "union". They are the equivalent of organized crime. Not teachers.......their union which is run by leftist gangsters.
