50th Woodridge High School Class Graduating Tonight

Commencement ceremony will be at Blossom Music Center from 7 to 9 p.m.

In 1999 they were kindergartners. Tonight, 153 seniors will walk across the stage and become the 50th graduating class of .

The commencement ceremony will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at . No tickets are required to attend.

Woodridge Principal Joel Morgan will serve as master of ceremonies, introducing speakers and announcing the Class of 2012’s Top 10 graduates.

Instead of having just one valedictorian and one salutatorian, Woodridge recognizes the top 10 honor students from the entire graduating class.

Speeches will be delivered by the five valedictorians, listed here in order of class rank: Angelina Moore, Alexander Minns, Alexander Spenik, Sara Bickett and Shervon Preston.

Raymond Allan, a senior class officer, will welcome attendees, conduct the turning of tassels and lead graduates in the school’s alma mater of the close of the ceremony.

Woodridge Board of Education President Tammy Heffernan will be presenting diplomas to the graduates.
