Cuyahoga Falls Small Business

Do you own a Small Business? would you be interested in an event downtown?

I was wondering who owns a small business here in cuyahoga falls? Wouldnt it be awesome if the small business'es could be a part of an event in downtown Cuyahoga Falls? If you have any information on how to head something like this or if you would like to head this up please let me know. This would be a great way to get product/information about your business to the community of Cuyahoga Falls. Maybe people didnt know your company existed. Would you like to head this up? WHo would someone contact for something like this? Im curious to see how many Small businesses in Cuyahoga Falls would want to participate in something like this.

I just went on a "Chocolate Walk" in Kent's new Acorn Alley. It was awesome! Each business handed out a scrumptious chocolate treat (they varied from kisses to cake pops to habanero covered chocolates. It was $15 per ticket with 25 stops. In addition to the treats, most businesses attached coupons and/or menus to drop in our bags. Some businesses also had sale items in conjunction with the walk. One restaurant had $5 chocolate martini's. It was awesome and it was structured to take you on a tour of the new shopping district. Fun and well worth the $15 pass!

Have you tried the CF Chamber of Commerce? Laura Petrella would love to hear from you. It's a great way to network with local businesses.

I would be absolutely interested in participating and helping out with getting it together. I have considered participating in the Chamber of Commerce community expo next month, but the cost deterred me as well as the inability to bring any of my merchandise to the event (just pictures and displays). Random thoughts I have at this point: 1.) Quirk Cultural Center has a room used for events (weddings, dances, craft shows) that could work if we wanted to do it off site at a very reasonable price. 2.) A scavenger hunt devised to get customers to visit each store involved, this way they are actually IN your store. 3.) I like the idea of the Chocolate Walk, or something similar that allows all participating businesses to have a common thread for the week/weekend. Either way, I think having it in one location would be beneficial because then people would know right where to go and see all of us in one place. It would be very similar to the Community Expo, except we could bring merchandise and actually sell it that day/weekend. I like this idea very much :)

My husband's business Computer Design & Repair would be interested. I'm an Outside Agent for Canary Travel and I'd like to be involved too!
