Volunteers Needed for Cuyahoga River Cleanup

The city is teaming up with communities along the Cuyahoga River for the 2011 National Public Lands Day.

The city is teaming up with communities along the Cuyahoga River and Kent State University to cleanup the river.

Volunteers are needed for the 3rd annual 2011 National Public Lands Day Cuyahoga River Cleanup Project from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 24.

Workers will be asked to help scoop up trash and litter on land or in the water via canoe. All of the cleanup supplies and a free lunch is included for participating.
