VIDEO Snow Makes a Comeback, Falls Still Has Salt Left

The Cuyahoga Falls streets department has its plows out treating the roads for late week winter blast.

It’s not over yet. While the groundhog predicted an early spring this year, it’s still winter and it’s still snowing.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for Cuyahoga Falls, which will remain in effect through Friday at 10 p.m. Forecasters predict up to 10 inches of snow could be on the ground by Friday night.

Cuyahoga Falls Streets Department Supervisor Chuck Novak tells Cuyahoga Falls Patch in the video above, how busy his plows have stayed all winter. City plows spread close to 12,000 tons of salt from December to February with still some left to spare.
