Romney Bus Visits Handel's in Falls, Minus Romney

Two other prominent Republicans touring to promote Romney candidacy.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, on board a Mitt Romney campaign bus, made a stop at on State Road in Cuyahoga Falls on Thursday.

A crowd of about 50 gathered despite a lack of much advance notice for a chance to mingle with the two governors and some local political figures as well.

Jindal and Pawlenty have been on a "shadow tour" of the Obama campaign, hoping to take some of the wind of President Obama's re-election effort. Romney is in Wolfeboro, NH, on vacation with his family.

Obama was scheduled to appear in Maumee, Sandusky and Parma Thursday. Today he'll be in Pennsylvania. Guess where Jindal and Pawlenty will be? Pittsburgh. 

Thursday's event in Cuyahoga Falls was decidedly more sedate than an earlier gathering in Parma, where some pushing and shoving erupted between rival supporting groups.
