Police Blotter: Holiday Stress Catches Up

Police respond to a domestic dispute regarding holiday-prep chores, reports of missing jewelry and an alleged paintball attack.

It seems the stress of preparing for the holidays proved too much for one Cuyahoga Falls couple. On Dec. 21, a 24-year-old woman reported getting into a verbal disagreement with her live-in fiancé regarding Christmas plans and division of household tasks. When police responded, neither party complained of physical violence, so police advised the couple to part ways for the day; the woman's brother picked her up from their residence to cool off.
