More Dam Demolition Expected Tuesday
Once again ... demolition all depends on the weather.
If the weather cooperates, the LeFever Powerhouse Dam removal is scheduled to begin Aug. 13.
According to information posted on the City of Cuyahoga Falls website, some preliminary testing and equipment was set up Monday. The city reminds residents that this is a construction zone and to avoid unsafe areas.
For those that wish to visit the site and view the demolition, a special viewing area has been set up underneath the Portage Trail Bridge.
