VIDEO Law Director Calls Documents Circulated on Krieger's Parking Lot Study 'Defamatory'

The Cuyahoga Falls administration responds to the latest round of information released by the Krieger's attorney team.

In response to the sent from Mike Krieger’s attorneys to Cuyahoga Falls City Council members, the city law director spelled out the status of a project that is still in the preliminary stages.

Documents labeled as a Project Impact Study, detailed the potential impact of an ODOT widening project to Krieger’s Health Food Market parking lot. The summary was prepared by Wade Trim Engineer David Neumeyer

Neumeyer said the “negative impacts and loss of parking spaces” to the parking lot would be substantial—19 spaces in all.

But Law Director Paul Janis said the documents accused the administration of falsifying a federal grant application and that he was surprised licensed attorneys would circulate the document.

He said Council will never be asked to decided whether the Graham Road widening project should widened on either side of the street.
