If you're looking to learn more about the fracking process, mineral rights or the environmental impact of drilling, the Akron Area League of Women Voters invites you to a fracking forum at 5:30 p.m. today at the in Fairlawn.

Speakers include:

• Gene Chini of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Natural Gas Resource Management, to talk about the fracking process.

• Mike Chadsey, of Energy In-Depth Ohio, will talk about the fracking boom and the need for energy.

• Ted Voneida, retired professor of neuro-anatomy at NEOMED will discuss fracking and its impacts on health.

• Finally, Cheryl Johncox, of the Buckeye Forest Council, will talk about fracking and our future environmental concerns.

There will be a Q&A session after the program and refreshments will be served.
