Want to know why Cuyahoga Falls Schools lost their excellent rating? See above!
Betsy November 9, 2012 at 01:39 pm
This city is full of morons. I'm literally surrounded by people living off of the government on my block.
Dave L November 9, 2012 at 02:37 pm
OK, my candidate didn't win but y'know folks, that's the way it goes.
Our country has been successful because we've always been able to move on after elections...well, we used to, anyways. If he does what he said he will do, then we all gain. If he doesn't, he sets his party back 20 years. So, let's just see what happens.

A map would help....what part of the city is precinct *?
russell leisenheimer November 9, 2012 at 03:21 pm
make that precinct 8
Andy Duve November 9, 2012 at 03:38 pm
Dave L summed it up. Everyone that didn't see their candidate win needs to cut out the sour grapes attitude. The citizens have spoken, respect the greatest democratic process on the planet and regroup in 4 years if you don't like what you see.

I sincerely agree with you, Kate.
Wanda M, You are a bit turned around on the reason why the Falls lost their "excellant rating"! Maybe if kids had a book to take home to do there homework and prepare for tests or quizzes in EVERY class. Instead, many kids have to share books with other kids and cannot take the books out of the classrooms. You are giving governmental/political overtones to a local educational problem. Other than getting more books, there is a grocery list of reasons why the rating is not what it used to be and hasn't been for awhile. No student should be without a book to study but parent involvement is paramount in the education of our children, also. Betsy, this isn't a city of morons. That's just wrong to even say. Don' damn people who are on government assistance unless you know their true story. The reason is probably legitimate. It's the ones abusing the system that need to be booted.I would support passing a drug tests to receive the check. Assistance should never be a life long endeavor. Just saying...

Hopefully things get better...
A lot of people are suffering in our great country and with our runaway deficits and out of control spending the future is scary. I pray Barack is the answer and WE ALL want America to be prosperous! With the EXACT same House, Senate, and President, I hope they can put their swords away and come together... the last 4 years have been ridiculous and it starts at the top. Leaders Lead. Losers Blame. #UnitedWeStand

I watched him for the last 4 yrs and saw that he actually has gotten alot done in spite of the obstructionism and those darn philabusters. The republican reps need to work with him and we will be better off for it.He cares about everyone I believe, not just the percentage with money.I hope the radicals in the senate are voted out cos no matter who is pres .they will want it their way,no matter what we,the citizens want done. They have become nothing but haters.Makes me mad they're doing that.

What's going on in the Paridise club in cuyahoga Falls is unbelievable, and for sure needs reported.Read More I was approached in October /november by the manager at that time. He came on to me in a very sick manner, said some very perverted commits and when I spoke up telling him I'm new to sobriety and not interested , he just chuckled with this disturbing smile. Then went on to offer me a job there at the Club, said I could through him get hired, then next came a sick smile. I left and didn't go back there for awhile . Would sometimes attend the AA meetings in the basement of Paridise Club , but stayed away from upstairs. But always very uncomfortable that I'd run into him. I had heard that He was no longer president because he admitted to being a sexual predator which involved several child of the AA members and others ,ect. So I stopped in for coffee and fellowship a month or so ago, and didn't see him until after I sat down. He was playing pool, but saw me. My stomach dropped , upon trying to leave , he approached me asking how sobriety was going. Then offered me a job to clean his apartment. Very ere! If I see him again there I will call the police. My friends daughter worked there I found out later. It's just plane sick that he is allowed there.

I would like to know where the person who wrote this blog got their information. AA is not aRead More religious cult or a cult of any sort. Members of AA have been helping other alcoholics since 1935. Medical science has proved that alcoholism is a disease with NO cure. AA is there to offer a helping hand.

Thank you Gail! This is just one of many, many stories. Convicted felons are routinely recruited toRead More 12 step cults. They have to go there, healthy people do not stay in this dangerous cult for long! ; ) http://www.orange-papers.org/orange-cult_a0.html

We were very fortunate to have the Humane Society take them. They should be available for adoptionRead More soon. I am just deeply saddened that people can do something like this with no concern for the dogs' welfare and to thrust that responsibility onto others who can't stand by and do nothing.

Those kind of people would leave their human kids as well.

I agree, this is inconsiderate and unkind. I would wish that people would not treat their animalsRead More so, but that remains a wish. However, I am thankful that something worse did not happen. At least at the park, someone was there who was kindhearted enough to take action. I shudder to think of the "other" possibilities.

Congrats John. I know what you are feeling. I know when my daughter was born way back in 1975 @Read More Cuyahoga Falls General. I wanted to go out to the intersection of Broad and State Rd and shout at the top of my lungs, "I have a baby daughter" That was the greatest enjoyment and biggest trill ever!! I was a big part of the delivery. I was in the room the whole time and would not have it ant other way. Way to go John and Jaklyn!!
