Fake Veterinarian Sentenced to Prison

In 2011, Brandi Tomko posed as a veterinarian at the C&D Veterinary Hospital on Brittain Road. She was found guilty in February.

The woman who attempted to treat animals, and in some cases, performed botched surgeries on them, will sentenced to 18 months in prison, according to NewsNet5.com

A Cuyahoga Falls pet owner discovered Brandi Tomko was a fraud last May when she took her Yorkie terrier mix to C&D Veterinary Hospital for treatment.

The woman described her interactions with Tomko as “sketchy” and her suspicions were confirmed when she arrived home and couldn’t find Tomko on the Ohio Veterinarians Board website.
