Expect Detours, Traffic Delays During Week-Long Road Closure

Motorists may have to change up their daily commutes starting Monday as State Road will be closed just south of the Bath Road intersection.

"There will be no southbound traffic down State Road from Bath Road; northbound traffic will be allowed through to the intersection," said Falls Service Director Valerie Wax Carr.

Emergency vehicles and schools buses will be allowed through during the closure."

Construction workers will be directing traffic and detours will be marked, she said.

Crews will be digging across State Road and the construction is expected to wrap up by this Friday.
