Election 2011: Cuyahoga Falls Roundup

Carrie Hummel Snyder leads for City Council at-large seat; Woodridge levy is losing.

A levy to fund Woodridge Local schools was headed to defeat Tuesday night, but a levy for Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board was winning by a comfortable margin. Other races decided seats on the Cuyahoga Falls City Council, the Cuyahoga Falls City School District Board of Education and the Woodridge Local Schools Board of Education.

Cuyahoga Falls City Council

Terry Mader pulled away from an early tie  in the Ward 8 Cuyahoga Falls City Council race Tuesday, with 1,201 to Russ Iona's 903. 

In the at-large seat Carrie Hummel Snyder led Don Nelsh 4,778 to 3,534. In Ward 1, Vincent Rubino was handily leading his race. Mark Ihasz led Marianne Sandy in Ward 4. In Ward 7, incumbent Jerry James led R. Greg Roush. Other wards were uncontested.

Cuyahoga Falls City School District Board of Education

Kellie Patterson and Dave Rump were leading the race Tuesday night for the two open seats on the Cuyahoga Falls City School District Board of Education. Patterson led with 2,612 votes, Rump had 2,307.

Woodridge Local Schools Board of Education

Woodridge Local School Board (Vote For Not More Than 2)

Marilyn Hansen and George DeBord led the race for the two open seats on the Woodridge Local Schools Board of Education on Tuesday. Hanson had 1,654 votes and DeBord had 1,490 votes.  

Trailing those two were Dale A Patterson, Marlene Martin and Frank Nikic.
