Cuyahoga Falls Manufacturer to Raise Wind Turbine

A compression sock manufacturer will be the first in Summit County to use wind turbine technology.

A Cuyahoga Falls compression sock manufacturer is given the green light to erect a 141.5-foot wind turbine.

Cuyahoga Falls City Council approved legislation Monday night for a conditional use permit that will allow the wind turbine to be raised at Julius Zorn Inc., at 3680 Zorn Dr. (off of Chart Road).

It will be the first wind turbine to be used by a business in Summit County.
