City Council Preview: June 6

Cuyahoga Falls City Council will discuss the bird feeding ordinance, water main replacements and a road widening project at its committee meeting this evening.

Items up for discussion on tonight’s agenda include:

  • Bird Feeding Ordinance

Council will have the opportunity to discuss possible amendments to an ordinance relating to feeding birds.

  • The State Road Widening Project

The Public Service Director Valerie Wax Carr will discuss the city’s application and financial assistance process for a grant or loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission to help pay for the .

  • Water Main Replacements

Carr will also talk about the grant/loan process that could be used to pay for a 16-inch water main in Graham Road and an 8-inch water main in Front Street.

Public Service: the purchase of a digger-derrick truck, city-wide tree removal, trimming and stump grinding.
