City Council Approves Paving, Water Main Projects
Council also approves purchase of digger-derrick and repair work on parking deck.
The Cuyahoga Falls City Council approved six ordinances on Monday, including plans to seek funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission for a State Road street widening project and water main replacement projects on Graham Road and Front Street.
The council also approved legislation to enter a contract with Skylift Inc. to buy a "track-mounted digger-derrick and aerial material handling device with trailer" for city crews to use on various projects.
Also, the council authorized the director of public service to seek a contract for tree removal, trimming and stump grinding around the city.

The council approved plans to repair concrete and masonry at the city's "blue" parking deck 2035 Old Town Loop.
All votes were 10-0 in favor of the ordinances. Councilman Don Walters was absent from Monday's City Council meeting.
