City Clean Up Effort Begins

Crews continue to remove large trees and clear debris left behind by Wednesday's storm.

City crews spent most of Thursday morning clearing away large pieces of debris from the storm that hit Cuyahoga Falls hard Wednesday.

Power lines and poles were down along streets including Highland Avenue, Tudor Street and Searl Street, where repairs are underway.

Crews will begin collecting debris from residents as early as Thursday afternoon. They will bring a chipper for any large debris, but residents are asked to bundle any branches less than 2 inches in diameter.
