Woman Facing Charge After Fake Gun Threat; Menacing; and Grand Theft Honda: Crime Blotter

Missing motorcycle

A 26-year-old Kent woman called Cuyahoga Falls police on April 20 after her 2001 Honda Rebel motorcycle, helmet and bicycle were stolen from a garage in the 2800 block of Norma Street. Estimated loss: $2,300.

On April 17 at 7:58 p.m., a woman called 911 and reported a man had stormed into her residence -- located in the 4300 block of Riverview Road --  and threatened her with a gun stuck in his waistband.

Several police officers rushed to the scene and quickly realized it was a prank call. According to the police report, there is a suspect who will likely be charged with making false alarms, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Cuyahoga Falls detectives intend on using the 911 dispatch tape against her as evidence. 

Menacing

While walking in the 600 block of Edwards Avenue, a 37-year-old Cuyahoga Falls woman reported an unknown man threatened to stab her and kick her in the face.

Police combed the area, but were unable to find the suspect.
