Vandals Raid Development; Weed Arrest; and Grand Theft Pontiac: Crime Blotter

Lock those doors

A woman's iPhone 5, valued at $600, was stolen from her unlocked car parked in the 1700 block of Hanover Street on Aug. 6.

There are no suspects or leads, according to a Cuyahoga Falls police report.

Weed arrest


A 17-year-old Cuyahoga Falls resident was arrested Aug. 5 in the 1600 block of Underwood Street after police allegedly found him in possession of marijuana and the tools used to traffic the drug. 

The minor was charged with trafficking in marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. 

Grand theft Pontiac

A 2000 Pontiac Bonneville was reportedly stolen Aug. 5 from the 1600 block of Hanover Street.

According to police, it appears the car was towed. 

Hooligans storm Towpath Boulevard


Vandals raided a local development off Towpath Boulevard Aug. 2 and threw furniture in the community pool. ripped out landscaping lights, broke bottles and knocked over multiple mailboxes.

Total damage: $500.
