Two Men Arrested for Possessing Chemicals Used to Make Drugs

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police discovered chemicals for creating drugs after searching a vehicle July 29.

The vehicle was pulled over for a routine traffic stop at Francis Avenue and Meriline Street.

When the police inspected the vehicle, they found that Brian Savory, 35, of Cuyahoga Falls, and James Brice Jr., 36, of Akron, were in possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.

Police said that Savory had four needles and meth, while Brice had drug paraphernalia and a three-inch knife in his waistband. 

Illegal possession of the chemicals for manufacture of drugs is a third degree felony.
