Trio Hit With Felony Meth Charges in Cuyahoga Falls

On Dec. 14, Cuyahoga Falls police arrested and booked three suspects on possession and manufacture of methamphetamine.

Crissten Cottrell, Erin Collins and Brittany Snow were plucked from their car and arrested on Dec. 14 after a tipster spotted them at Discount Drug Mart buying ingredients commonly used for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

As they left the store, the eyewitness called Cuyahoga Falls police to relay the tip. Within minutes, officers pulled the suspected meth users over in the 600 block of Portage Trail, said Falls police Lt. Dale Gramley.

When police learned Cottrell had an outstanding warrant, they searched his car and found methamphetamine, and the newly purchased chemicals used to cook the drug.

The trio appeared together in Stow Municipal Court on Thursday for their preliminary hearing.

Since each is facing one or more felony charges, their cases will be bound over to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas where they will be arraigned and prosecuted.

As it stands, the three suspects are in custody at Summit County Jail.
